Who can take part ?

Participants in the competition must be under 35 years of age and reside in Europe on the closing date for registrations, January 21, 2013.

How to register ?

To register, you must submit the following documents before midnight (CET) on January 21, 2013 to the e-mail address registration@pushyourart.com  :
  • The application form that can be downloaded from this site
  • A portfolio (presentation of a selection of works)
  • A resume
  • A covering letter (2,000 characters including spaces)
  • A presentation of the project including a statement of intent (3,000 characters including spaces) and illustrative material (sketches, photos, videos, etc. included in the document or via weblinks)
  • In submitting your application, you certify that you have fully read and accepted the general terms and conditions of participation available on the How to enter page. 

    An e-mail to confirm receipt of your file will be sent to the e-mail address from which the file was sent, thus confirming your registration for the competition.

    What is the closing date for applications?

    Files can be submitted until midnight (CET) on January 21, 2012.

    When will I find out whether or not my project has been selected?

    The results of the pre-selection stage will be sent by e-mail to the 10 applicants selected, and will be available on the www.pushyourart.com website on March 5, 2013.

    In which language must the application documents be written ?

    All documents provided for the competition must be written in English or French.

    What are the technical and artistic themes to be included in the work?

    The works shown must meet the following technical criteria
  • 3D relief work
  • work displayed on a 3D screen with glasses
  • maximum duration of 3 minutes
  • production budget: maximum €30,000.
  • There are no specific artistic themes to be adhered to.

    What is the Master Class? 

    The Master Class is made up of 3 days of workshops, lectures and classes given by professionals from the art and 3D relief world. It will take place from March 21-23, 2013.

    How will the winner and 3 runners-up be selected?

    The 10 Master Class participants will give an oral presentation of their project to the Jury on March 26, 2013. On the same day, the Jury will then determine the 4 winners to be exhibited at Palais de Tokyo.

    What is to be won? 

    The competition winner will have their work produced (financed up to a maximum of €30,000 exclusive of tax), supervised by a curator from Palais de Tokyo and the exhibition of said work at Palais de Tokyo in September 2013 (provisional date).

    The 3 runners-up will win an exhibition of their preliminary works created during the Master Class. They will be shown to the public during the same exhibition at Palais de Tokyo in September 2013.

    How can I terminate my participation?

    If you wish to unsubscribe from the competition, please send an e-mail to registration@pushyourart.com with “termination of participation” in the subject line. You will be unsubscribed as soon as this e-mail is received.
